I have come to grips with the fact that I am no longer a weekly...or even monthly blogger. Ha! Maybe it's because I battled morning sickness for 8 solid weeks, maybe it's because it is summer time, who knows! Ha! That being said, I want to be able to print my blog books for the kids to have of our memories so I have to upload pictures and update on happenings in our home, even if it is only once every few weeks/months. :)
When it is summer and you live in Texas, water is a part of your daily activities. Ha!
The kids loved going to the Trophy Club Splash park last week with friends!
I packed us lunches and we stayed out there for about 3 hours. The kids all took good naps that afternoon!
Tristan has been taking intense swimming lessons the past two weeks, 4 day each week. He is learning SO much! The lessons are through Flipkicks Swimming Academy and they teach proper swim technique as well as survival methods. I have seen children as young as 6 months SWIMMING under water. It is so amazing!
Floating on his back (survival method)
14 weeks 1 day pregnant and feeling extra patriotic! ;)
We went to a shrimp fry at our friend's house, the girls had the best time playing (drinking water) in the sprinklers!
Anytime we do late afternoon swim dates we always bring pjs so we can do baths before coming home!
BFFs!!
Dwight got a new grill for Father's Day, which he is super happy about, so he requested that we grill out Saturday evening. The weather was perfect!! I invited my parents and sister over, got out the water toys and bubble machine, and we enjoyed yummy food and quality time together!
I took the kids for donuts before the splash park one morning...clearly one of them was VERY excited about donut holes. ha!
Tristan is such a sweet big brother. He watches out for that little girl everywhere she goes.
Another summer day, more water fun!
Swimming and dinner with friends, bath and pjs immediately after. This is summer!
T asked to get Ken ready a couple weeks ago. He loves taking care of her! :)
Back in the peek of my morning sickness my mother would help me out SO much with the kids. She picked them up one day to go to lunch in southlake with her and my sisters. The kids got lots of loving!
My sweet little cousin graduated from high school so we threw her a graduation party. This cake was everything my pregnant heart dreamed of. Ha!
We were in Houston for a basketball tournament on Father's Day weekend. Dwight got in the car for our road trip wearing this fanny pack and I nearly fell out of my seat laughing. He wore it ALL weekend and was so serious about it. I snapped this picture of him in it at a rest stop, watching the kids play, holding a sippy cup. Such a good dada!!
My sweet Camryn!! I love this girl. Andrea (her mom) and I decided to take the girls for lunch and sno cones one day. Apparently we were a little early (10am) because neither place opened till 11am. So we killed some time before eating. Ha!
The most delicious nachos from a new place in Keller called Salsaritas!
Checking on sweet baby C a week or so ago. I can't believe how big he/she has gotten!
Andrea and I took the girls to the splash park and then to lunch, these two crack me up!
Tristan's basketball season is over (woohoo! Ha!) and he did SO good. I am ready to have our weekends back though. :)
More water fun with sweet friends!
Swinging! I was so proud of Ken for being able to use the big kid swing. :)
The boys attended a VBS in our area and had a littler performance one night. I took them to Jason's Deli and then on to their show. They sang their little hearts out for Jesus!
Okay after the longest post ever, I am caught up!
