Tristan's 1 Year Pictures!

I have FINALLY had the time to sort through and upload the adorable pictures I had made for Tristan's 1st year of life. :) Amanda Williams was our amazing photographer, she met us out at the botanical gardens and we spent a couple of hours walking around and taking pictures. She is wonderful, if you would like any information regarding her business I strongly recommend her! There are A LOT so enjoy!!

Mommy and Me!

Yesterday was a relaxing day, Tristan and I slept in until 9am...that never happens! He has been doing SO well with sleeping at night ever since I stopped sleeping in the same room as him. This week he has normally been sleeping from 7:30pm to about 8:30am. I actually wake up refreshed...what a concept! :) We had a late breakfast, got ready and went to the park. It was a beautiful day! I have really enjoyed having so much down time with my little man and watching him grow and develop more and more every day.

Tristan loved to swing as an infant...it's how I got anything done, some things never change!

Loving the teeter-totter...yes, I rode it with him. Ha, the things I'll do for him!:)

We went very, very slow on this!

Hi, mom!

He looks like such a big boy in his "little man clothes"!

Driving, look out!

Whew, worn out...time to go get ice cream from yummy Sheridans; okay I ate the ice cream and Tristan had a cone!

Bye Bye Bottle!!

It has become apparent to my family and I that Tristan is severely pampered! lol He is the ONLY baby in the family and it shows...I am really trying to work on some stuff with him to get him over this minor hump in the road we are currently facing. He was doing great sleeping at night and this past month has started to decline again; not okay with momma! We are buying him a mattress topper for his bed, hoping that it will make his naps and bedtime more comfy because he will sleep in my bed for hours where as his crib is a whole different story! Also, no more rocking to sleep. :( I love, love rocking him but it has prevented him from self-soothing and last but certainly not least is the bottle. It must go! I packed it up today along with the bottle warmer. Seriously, why am I so sad about bottles?? lol It is just more evidence that my baby is becoming a little boy. Next up is the pacifer, God HELP us; that boy LOVES his pacifer, I don't even want to know what that will be like. Say a prayer for us! Changes is never easy but it is for the best!

Tristan got his hair buzzed today here are some pics of my little stud! :)

His new do! Kind of hard to see here.

He loves the camera, good thing he is getting his 1 year pics done tomorrow! :)

Here is a better view, it looks even cuter in person, I love it!

Standing but not walking still...!

Baby, It's Cold Outside!

I am certainly a fan of this "cold" weather! I know I am such a Texan...it is 50 degrees and I pull out gloves, coats, tights to wear under my jeans, scrafs and more! ha Tristan however had outgrown his coat from last year since he was 3 months old when we bought it, so Friday I had the joy of coat shopping. It was harder than I thought it would be! We went to Oldnavy and there were some cute ones there but I knew I could find a better deal so we went over to the Grapevine Mills Mall and into Children's Place, their coats were high and not cute! ha ha so we kept moving and I found him a nice Michael Jordan coat orginally $85.00 on sale for $19.00 I LOVE finding a good deal and this one must have been the best ever! I went back to Children's Place and got Tristan the CUTEST hat, pictured below. The "urgency" in our coat shopping was because last night my family went to the L.D. Bell high school homecoming game. My sister, Ashley was a Raiderette in high school and it was the Raiderette's 50th reunion so she got to go back and dance at half time!! We had a blast and bundled up to enjoy the game. Tristan did great, he was so excited people watching; he loved the band, color guard, especially since they had flags and he even enjoyed the football game! Such a boy!! :)

It seriously doesn't get much cuter than this!!

Told you we were bundled up!!
