18 Weeks Old!
Well, I survived the first week of school! I LOVE all of my classes and I am so excited to be back at DBU with friends and in a routine. But I was always very eager to come home to my little man and give him lots of kisses! Tristan turned 18 weeks yesterday and rolled over for the first time the day before that! He is changing so much and is still such a good baby. He realized he has vocal cords and lets everyone in the house know it. :) I am enjoying watching him explore his new world and see how excited he gets when he finds something new. Here are a few pics of my growing boy!
Love those big brown eyes!
Playing in his crib like a big boy.

His onesie says "Heart breaker" in honor of Valentines day...we're a little early!
I look like a bum but he looks precious!

Busy, busy busy!
The last two weeks have been good but busy! Tristan is changing so much every single day and just when I think he can't possibly get any cuter...he does! I start school on the 20th and will be on campus at DBU Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 12:30pm. I'm taking 12 hours consisting of Statistics, a Pscyhology, Sociology and Religion class. I can't wait to graduate in May 2010!! Needless to say, life is only going to get busier! Thankfully my mom will be home with Tristan while I am at school and I am so grateful for that. Tristan loves his Mimi and I know she is super excited to get some one on one time with him.
Tristan is 4 months old this coming Sunday and still growing like a weed. He is wearing 9 month clothing and has started "talking," laughing and smiling so much through out the day. He is so big infact that I am about to have to purchase the next stage carseat for him because the infant seat not only breaks my arm when I try to carry him in it :) but it barely contains my little man. He is now eating one jar of organic baby food a day and he loves it. He has quite the personality and I love him more and more each day. He is such a little joy and I know that the best is yet to come!
Sitting in his high chair for the first time!
The aftermath...he loved his banana baby food
Bath time!!
Precious!
Such a little man :)

Happy New Years!
I can't believe it's 2009 and Tristan is almost 4 months old!!! Where does the time go? Well I am more than ready to leave 2008 in the past, it was a rough year but I learned so much and I got my precious son out of it. I am so excited to see what God has in store for me, my family and friends this year. I have faith that there are many blessings ahead of us.
I start school January 20th and will be taking a full load of upper levels classes so I can graduate on time in May 2010, I better enjoy these last few weeks of a calm life! I am excited to get started back into a routine, go to school and continue to progress in life. I know that 2010 will come around just as quickly as 2009 did so I want to soak up every memory and life lesson possible.
This New Years Eve, Tristan and I went to dinner with my parents and grandparents to a delicious Mexican place in Southlake. Afterwards I came home put Tristan in his pjs, fed him and then put him in his amazing swing and he fell asleep, I went to ring in the New Year with some of my best friends from middle/high school and had fun but I was home by 12:30am because I missed my baby!
Well, cheers to a New Year full of new chances and a new beginning. God is so good, lets embrace what He has planned for us in 2009.
