Movie Night!

The night after Thanksgiving we were brave and went to a late night movie...with Tristan! He did great!! About 20 minutes into it he fell asleep in my sister, Natalie's arms and stayed there the whole movie and then slept on the car ride home, I laid him in his bed and he was out til the next morning! It was so much fun, 2 of my sisters; Ashley and Natalie, my parents, grandparents and Tristan and I all went. First we ordered pizza, ate then went to Barnes and Noble where Tristan played with the Thomas trains on the train table...he more than loved it, I think I know what he'll be getting for Christmas from Mimi and Poppy! The movie we saw was Blind Side with Sandra Bullock and Tim McGraw, it was EXCELLENT. Loved every single minute of it, highly recommend it! Today T-man learned how to climb on the fireplace and walk around...scared me to death! I looked up and he was just standing there on it, I about had a heart attack, he thought it was hilarious. Let the fun being...!

On our way to the movie...I thought he would fall asleep on the way there, but he didn't.

Happy Thanksgiving!!

I have SO much to be thankful for...
-Tristan Kye, my most perfect little guy
-Amazing family and friends to walk through life with me
-Being MONTHS away from graduation!!!!!!!!
-Most importantly, serving a loving, faithful, merciful, wonderful God.

We have had a relaxed but fun Thanksgiving day. My cousin and grandparents came over and we enjoyed a delicious meal and more desserts than any one person should ever have. Which by the way I have FINALLY started gaining weight. After keeping a food diary I realized I was not consuming near enough calories. I went to the dr they did blood work and ran all sorts of test to see why I weighed 104lbs and am 5'9 but found nothing wrong. The dr told me I need to just eat, and eat, and eat because my weight was dangerously low... "10lbs away from being admitted to the hospital" were his exact words. He said I need to eat the fattiest choice in front of me and all through out the day. I have done that for the past month and a half and have gained weight! I am SO excited because I am able to wear all my jeans and stuff that I couldn't fit in for nearly a year since they were HUGE. I haven't weighed myself recently but I think I'm probably up to 110 or so. Anyway, back to Thanksgiving...after lunch we watched the Cowboys win!! Ate some more dessert then played the funnest game...Apples to Apples, the best game ever, highly recommend it. :) Hope everyone had a great holiday and had much to be grateful for!! The day before thanksgiving Tristan and I went to lunch with 3 of my very best friends from middle/high school. It was SO good to see them; it's been a while but it's like no time has passed!

Happy Birthday Faith Alexa Presley!

We have had a fun but super busy weekend. I have pretty much been doing research for my Psychology project non-stop and taking couple hour breaks to do things; one of the things was go to Faith's 1st birthday party. I watched her from the time she was 5 weeks old until she was 10 months old and I cannot believe she is turning 1 on Tuesday!! She is such a sweet baby and like my 2nd child. So here are a ton of pictures from her special day...notice how Tristan did not quite understand that he wasn't the center of attention, I think he got in just about every single picture with her! :)

The delicious birthday cake that Faith's grandma made, she made the cake for my baby shower with Tristan too!

Reunited. :)

Lot's of catching up to do!

I haven't been very good about updating lately, school has been busier than ever. Somehow papers, assignments and test always fall around the same time. But a lot of great things have been going on around here. Tristan is becoming quite the little man. He is developing a personality like no other and it cracks me up. He has mastered the art of "fake falling"...yes, fake falling! ha ha he starts walking then purposefully throws himself to the ground, turns his head back to make sure we are all watching and then laughs. When I tell him it's time to go bye, bye he gets my car keys and walks to the front door. He is distinguishing between the different shapes in his toy cookie jar and puts the circle in the circle hole, and so one with all the other shapes. He knows red and yellow...so far those are the only colors he can recognize but mind you he is just 14 months old!!! He is SO smart, and I'm not just saying that because he is my baby. :) Today I took Tristan on a lunch date, just me and him. We went to Chick fil A, ate and then played together on the play ground, which he loved then came home and went for a quick stroll around the block. Ahhh, I fall more and more in love with this little angel every single day and I don't even understand how I could possibly have anymore love to give but clearly I do!

Tristan's words:
- Thank you
-Bye, bye
-Mamma
-Mom
-Mommy (he only said this once but it melted my heart!!)
-bubba
-Ohhh (when he drops something)
-Uh oh

I'm sure I forgot some but those are most of them! It's one day early but HAPPY 14 MONTHS TRISTAN KYE!!!

Being his mellow self! :)

We got rid of the bottle at 13 months...I think the pacie and blankie will be with us for a while! haha

climbing on the couch...such a boy.

If he is clapping his hands I am sure someone was saying "yaaay Tristan!!"

Bubs playing on our lunch date!

He had a blast!!

Wanting to climb and slide so badly, in a few more months he'll be able to. :)

Roaming the halls, he practically runs the house. ha ha
