Ken & Bri

Kennedy was chosen to model for a super cute etsy shop that I follow on Instagram! They have the CUTEST headbands and tights. I seriously want all their stuff! The bands Ken is wearing below are SO soft, don't pull her hair, and come in the most fun patterns! Brianna got in on the modeling, too! Check out this adorable shop if you have little girls! They have adult sized items, too!!

And because I like to keep things REAL!! Haha! Can you say, "terrible two's"?!?? Lord, give me strength!! ;) the struggle is real.

The Gaylord

One of my favorite places to go during Christmas, is the Gaylord Texan! It is decorated with absolute perfection. It has become our family tradition to go each year during this time! Before Kennedy was born, we always did ICE but we havent done that since I was pregnant with her. It's just too cold and I'm not sure she would make it.  So, until she is a little older, we have been going there to eat at one of their delicious restaurants and walk around. Last year we saw Santa there, but since we went after Christmas this time, he was already gone.

The river walk cantina was yum! Dwight got the biggest thing of nachos, of course I had to sneak a few chips off his plate. Typical woman move, I know. Ha! ;)

See previous post regarding terrible two's. Haha!! Poor Ken Ken...poor us!! ;)

I can't believe today is New Year's Eve! Wishing everyone a safe day full of fun!

Christmas joy and toys!

The kids are enjoying their new toys. I am questioning some of our purchases. Ha!! We have had a pretty busy week but have made sure to enjoy our time together.

The kids favorite toy and the one I question most, the indoor bball goal. ;) I've already had a huge picture frame shattered. This thing will be moving to the garage soon!

Ken Ken loves her car. Thanks, Santa!

Bri got a new pink scooter so she can keep up with the boys, and Kennedy got a little tricycle!

What good is a pink scooter without pink rain boots? I had fun shopping for her!

Kennedy's favorite toys are these Melissa and Doug cookies and a tea set that my parents got her. Tristan was so sweet and had a tea party with her!

She insisted on wearing oven mits. Ha!

Mimi and Poppy also got her this mini-Target cart and her very first cabbage patch doll, Penny! She was so excited!

We have a climber....

Little miss in her Minnie chair. She is just too much!! She loves Tristan's PB chair bc it's her size, so I wanted to get her a chair of her own. She loves it!

It was POURING rain on Sunday so we stayed home from church and in our pjs all day. Daddy cooked us a yummy breakfast and lunch, we watched polar express, drank hot chocolate, and had a family bball tournament on the kid's goal!

We also had a little post-Christmas craft time! The kids loved painting!

 Sweet note to daddy...

Saturday we went to chuck e cheese and Ken was WORN out!

Staying warm!

Birthday party for Jesus! The kids loved this. We each talked about our favorite bible story and who Jesus is to us.

Cheering daddy on at his game!

The kids helped me make a rice crispy Christmas tree snack one day!

Break isn't over and we have some more fun planned!

Christmas Day 2015

Merry Christmas! What a beautiful-blessed day we had!! This year Bri and Amari woke up at their mom's house, so it was just Tristan and Kennedy with us for the first part of the day. Oh, how I love my little reindeer!!

These two were SO excited to see their gifts from Santa. I love seeing Christmas through their eyes!

After opening presents, we headed to my parents house for breakfast and more gifts. They spoiled the kids big time!

Kennedy's favorite toy is this velcro cookie sheet set from Melissa & Doug! She carries the cookies around with her all day. Mimi hit the jackpot with this gift.

My uncle Pierre (my biological dad's brother) came over to celebrate with us. I LOVE seeing him. He reminds me so much of my father, they look identical. It's like having a little piece of my dad. Thankful!

Mimi and Poppy also got the kids swim lessons, Ken is going to be a fish this summer!

Sisters!

Ken and her aunt Ashley. She loves her so much!

Amari's mom dropped him off to us around 12pm and he opened up a few presents and then had Wrestle time with poopy. Ha!

Once we had all the kids, we went back home to let Bri and Amari open gifts, and give them their joint Santa gift. They were happy, to put it mildly. Ha!

Dwight always says we need to stop giving Santa credit for all the best gifts. Haha! Let's just say this is way bigger and louder than we thought it would be...what was I thinking?!?

But the kids love it!!

Hope you all had a VERY Merry Christmas!! We are so thankful for our savior, Jesus Christ, coming to earth as a baby to live a sinless life and provide a way to heaven for us all. Happy birthday, Jesus!
