Tuesday, Dwight and I celebrated our second wedding anniversary. On one hand it is hard to believe two years have gone by, on the other hand, I feel like we've been married for forever (in a good way). It's hard to remember life before "us". I was looking back on our little courthouse wedding day, and am amazed at where God has brought us!
In the two years we have been married, we have moved THREE times, I graduated with my Master's degree, Dwight went overseas and played pro basketball for 7 months, the kids got ridiculously big, I worked for two different, amazing organizations, and best of all, we got pregnant! We were talking the morning of our anniversary and I asked Dwight "where do you think we will be this time next year?" I love looking back on life, reflecting...and I love looking forward, dreaming. I told him "It is weird to think we will have an almost one year old this time next year." All I know is that while life has certainly not been perfect, it has been sweet! I am looking forward to many, many more years with my love.
I couldn't help going back and looking at how big the kids have gotten, and some of the memories we have made. I feel so blessed to have the life and family that I do.
Tomorrow I will be 32 weeks ( 8 months) pregnant. It is so surreal that we will have a little GIRL here very soon! We set up some baby gear the other day. I finished packing her hospital bag, and Mimi came over to start painting the tree mural I found on Pinterest and just had to have in K's room. I am blessed to have such a talented mama! I still feel like there is a TON more to do...thankfully I am taking a couple days off during spring break so we can finalize last minute baby preparations. :)
Today Dwight and I spent about 3 hours at the hospital doing fetal monitoring due to some painful contractions I was having. Turns out, I was dehydrated. They monitored baby for quite and while and made me drink a ton of water. I feel much better now. Never a dull moment around here! :) Off to bed I go, it has been a l-o-n-g day.
